General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) may soon find themselves crossing the line beyond simple friendship.
Could the increasingly close bond between Jordan and Michael eventually turn into an affair while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) remains behind bars?
Curtis is currently looking at a 10-year prison sentence, although he is holding onto hope that he could be released on parole after serving only two years.
Jordan plans to remain loyal to Curtis and ideally rebuild their life together once he is finally released, but circumstances could force that plan to change.
With Curtis no longer by her side, Jordan is bound to feel increasingly lonely, and she has already started turning to Michael for emotional support.
Curtis’ choice to place Jordan in the temporary CEO position at Aurora could ironically be the very thing that pushes her straight into Michael’s arms!
Michael recently ended his relationship with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), which means he will be struggling with his own sense of loneliness as well.
On top of that, Michael is still dealing with all the chaos surrounding Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) at home, so he may be desperate for some kind of escape.
Jordan could ultimately become that escape if the chemistry between the two of them suddenly takes a much hotter and more dangerous turn.
Michael might offer Jordan the same type of comfort, helping her cope with the pain of Curtis being locked away as well as the emotional impact of her facial scars.
GH spoilers indicate that Jordan and Michael will continue having more Aurora-related meetings, creating plenty of opportunities for business to gradually blur into pleasure.
There is also the fact that Michael and Jordan have very similar ways of thinking and share more in common than they may initially realize.
Michael forced Willow to stay at the Quartermaine gatehouse so he could keep a close watch on her, while Jordan agreed to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) request to become more involved with Aurora for essentially the same reason.
Both Jordan and Michael understand the strategy of keeping dangerous people close while carefully watching every move they make.
Michael and Jordan seem to understand each other on a deeper level, so GH writers could be laying the groundwork for an intense and explosive romantic connection.
There is little doubt that Jordan would be overwhelmed with guilt if she began an affair with Michael, but eventually the temptation may become too powerful for her to resist.
The attraction between Michael and Jordan could continue building until both of them reach the point where giving in feels almost unavoidable.
Since Curtis is expected to become the victim of a prison attack and end up fighting for his life in the ICU, perhaps Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will be able to use that crisis to push for Curtis’ release much earlier than expected.
Curtis still has the option of appealing his conviction, so Martin could aggressively work to overturn the sentence or at least convince the court to reduce his punishment.
If Michael and Jordan do begin an affair, they may suddenly be forced to end it before things go too far, but Curtis could still discover that they crossed the line and unleash his anger!
